I ordered this with a 35% promotion and I am so glad I did! The leather is very rich, smells heavenly, and supple to the touch. I got the chocolate brown, which is gorgeous. The strap is detachable, but I like that it hangs just below the bottom of the purse - it's part of the design IMO. I found the size to be perfect for me, although I do like big purses. This looks like the premier designer $1500+ purses celebs favor. Simply stated, this purse is well worth the price.

I liked the style of this handbag, but in person it was way bigger than I expected and the leather was a lot more distressed than I would have liked.The leather had a lot of markings, and it looked used. Furthermore I am pretty tall (5'7'') and this bag looked quite big even with my height. I guess it might be O.K for daytime if you like to carry lots of stuff with you, but not for the afternoon. Overall it was not worth it for me so I sent it back.

I'd purchased many things at Amazon but never write review. It's just because I'm not good in english. BUT this bag is sooooo beautiful, it should be recommended for everyone. I got the chocolate brown too! The leather is very soft, the size is what I want and the details is nice......it hard to me to say in english.

I was choosing between a Logan satchel or this one and I'm so glad I went with this one. FYI, it doesn't look like the one in the photos Amazon posted. I think they overstuffed the bag so it kinda looks like a ball in the photo. You should check out the photos in the Botkier website....I chose the bag after seeing the photos there. I thought it was going to be too big given the dimensions but it's just right. I chose the chocolate brown and it looks so much better in person. The hardware is of very high quality and the leather is just so heavenly....very, very supple. The bag looks very delicate but it's actually very durable, I've been using it everyday and in my opinion, it's a bag that will pass the test of time. Definitely worth it!!!
