A charming book that has a few basic experiments, but nothing that would hold the interest for a young reader because so much of the information is outdated. It is a good book for the bibliophile who wants to go down memory lane. It might also be a good book to show your grandchild and explain "how things were when you were young." Feminists beware! Some contents may be offensive (not to say the cover).
