This book is full of pictures and scenarios which make it a great resource to review for the Lactation Consultant certification exam. Will also be great to show to new mothers when explaining proper positioning, and identifying problems

I simply love it ! I especially appreciate the new DVD feature. The clips are very informative and beautifully made. I really love the kind and gentle approach towards babies. I am certain, as an image is worth a thousand words, that this will go far in educating other healthcare professionals. I look forward to using this new tool in my work and teachings.

I really want to thank the authors for this extensive work of photographying and filming special breastfeeding situations. This wonderful work will greatly help further breastfeeding knowledge with HCP and is an essential tool for us as professional LCs.

I bought this solely as a reference book on my way to becoming an IBCLC. There aren't any other books that contain the amount of pictures as this one.

I didn't give it 5 stars because I think there is some erroneous information in it and I wish they had more "normal" pictures....however, it's still a really good book.

I sat for the IBCLC exam for the first time in July 2009. This book was critical to my studying, as I am not a nurse. As a volunteer breastfeeding counselor, I have limited opportunities to see tricky breastfeeding situations up close. The pictures and information included here were really helpful. (And I passed the exam!)

I consider this book fascinating. Each chapter contains paragraphs that refer to pictures in the back of the book, which lets you know exactally what you are reading about. This is the best resource I have ever seen for learning. It was recommended to me by experienced Lactation Consultants. The consultants said the half of the Lactation Exam Boards are pictures.

Have used a "borrowed" Breastfeeding Atlas 4yrs ago to study for the IBCLC exam. It was very helpful. Since I am now in a position as a Lactation Coordinator, I wanted my own copy for myself and the nurses to use as a reference/resource. It is a great resource with full explanations of conditions and pictures to coincide.

I recently became a lactation specialist and this book is WONDERFUL !!! Very easy to read and very easy to use when you have issues and questions and need help.

absolutly comprehensive book on breastfeeding for educator, midwives, lactating consulatnt, nurses or anyone working around mother.
Lots of pictures, great description, specific conditions, a must have book.
