How does this camera compare with Macro shots, i want to take pics of flowers, is there a better P&S Canon for Macro

Of course - there is ALWAYS a "better" P&S Canon for Macro - just depends on how much you want to spend. Here are some shots I took today with this camera. The first three are right up "in the face" of the flower - perhaps 6" away - the last two were from about 2-3 feet away using the zoom. The wind was blowing like crazy out there and I was just using the "auto" setting. I'm sure I could have gotten them sharper if I took more time, but I wanted to get this post to you that YES - this camera can shoot macro.
