All I have to do was plug it into my computer with a normal "printer to usb" cable and it read the keyboard. I am using windows xp on an Acer 10.7 inch with a 20 inch monitor. It works fine.

I used it with a MIDI Keyboard but could never get a reasonable latency so I gave up on the product. I have no problems getting 7 ms in other software I use.
I would tell you to download a demo and try it out but they don't offer one. They probably don't want people to see how bad their software is. I can not recommend this product to anyone.
