Gorgeous, but longer than described.,

I received this bracelet as a gift, and it is really beautiful. I just wanted to provide a 'heads up' to those buying it for someone with a small wrist, as I have.
The description of the bracelet says that it is 7-1/4 inches long. I have just measured mine, and the length of the STONE portion alone is 7-1/4 inches. The total length of the bracelet, end to end, is actually 7-7/8 inches; the distance from the center of the end loop to the center of the clasp loop is 7-3/4 inches, so that is the 'true' length of the bracelet when closed. I've written to the manufacturer to ask whether the bracelet can be resized, although I have no idea what a jeweler would charge for doing that, if it can even be done. If I receive a relevant response, I'll update this review. Update: the manufacturer replied that this bracelet CAN be resized.
