A farce, in the manner of 1930's screwball comedies and an American take on P. G. Wodehouse's farces. Four teachers from Kansas, from young to mature, come to New York for summer school and to add a little adventure to life. Two men from Kansas follow, both intent on marrying the lovely young Carola. Soon they are not the only ones. Nightclubs, lawyers, breach of promise suits, marriage proposals, millionaires, sculptors, surge through the story. Breezy and funny. Would have made a good movie in the 1930s.
