5.0 out of 5 stars Higher than the Rest
This paticular Blue Sport Carry Case, is very soft it wont rip and the inside of it isn't made out of cheap cardboard. Casses don't rip very easily. I actully have had mine thrown out of a bus going 75 on a freeway and not a scratch on it. The cd's were in perfect condition.

I got the case because I wanted a case to hold my CDs while in the car. I can't recommend the case for anyone who wants it for that purpose.

Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I got the case because I wanted a case to hold my CDs while in the car. I can't recommend the case for anyone who wants it for that purpose.

First, sliding the CDs into the pockets is a pretty tricky operation with one hand (the other presumably being on the steering wheel). Doable, just not very easy. Second the zipper isn't easy to close when the case is full of CDs. Not easy at all. I gave up even trying because that is DEFINITELY a two-handed operation.

I could have lived with those quirks. But within two weeks the "pages" that hold the CDs began tearing out of the case. I don't know if it is because the plastic got cold from being in the car overnight (Seattle isn't THAT cold) or because it is just cheap. This morning, while steering with my knees so as to be extra careful, another page tore out of the case.

And that, my friends, was the broken straw that got me to write this review (something I have never done before). You results may vary, but I found this case to be both inconvenient to use and poorly made. Now I have to find another case and this one goes into the trash ...

5.0 out of 5 stars Durable CD-holder, June 22, 2000
This review is from: cdProjects CCS48Bl CD Sport Carrycase (48 Capacity, Nylon, Blue/Black) (Electronics)
Since this CD-holder is a sporty type, it has been built nicely. There is no real threat of scratching CDs up. It's good to just put in your backpack and go, because you don't have to worry about your CDs breaking in this safe holder. I recommend this to people with large CD collections that they value. Happy Shopping!

4.0 out of 5 stars Dont listen to the guy below!, April 16, 2001
By A Customer
Some Guy in Seattle complained that the pages pulled out of the book. THAT'S THE POINT!!! The pages are removable, and interchangable with their home storage units and other portable units. Keep them in the sleeves at home, when you want to grab CDs for the car, they snap out of the home system and fit into the portable case. Its a super-convenient way to carry CDs between home, office, and car.

A good case! It has bubble sheets(one of the best carring case sheets) Has durable zippers. Has a front pocket, and a mesh pocket on the inside.

2.0 out of 5 stars Not great if you fill it with CD's, December 6, 2001
This review is from: cdProjects CCS48Bl CD Sport Carrycase (48 Capacity, Nylon, Blue/Black) (Electronics)
If you fill this with CD's, it's hard to zip, and also
the inner sleeves which are individually removable tend to
fall out. It's not horrible but if I could buy over again
I would choose something else.

3.0 out of 5 stars Pretty good case, but not for in car use, September 17, 2001
This review is from: cdProjects CCS48Bl CD Sport Carrycase (48 Capacity, Nylon, Blue/Black) (Electronics)
For general storage of CDs this case is a pretty good bet. Although it has a soft exterior it offers good protection for your CDs and have a convenient carrying strap. I use it for storing data CDs and for the price it is a great deal. However, I don't recommend this case for storing discs you want to access while driving. It doesn't "open flat" and in a car will probably end up closing on its own. Once you do have it open finding your CD might be problematic since you can't flip an entire "page" at once. Rather, the upper cd and lower cd turn individually. For home use this isn't too much of an issue but in a car it is too much trouble to deal with.

4.0 out of 5 stars Good Choice, March 9, 2002
This review is from: cdProjects CCS48Bl CD Sport Carrycase (48 Capacity, Nylon, Blue/Black) (Electronics)
There are two problems with this cd case that one could have. However neither of them bothered me all that muching that the cd case does not open all the way as someone else mentioned. But this gets better with time, and if you care more about cd safety than easy acess this should not be a problem.
Second, the zippers do not close all the way, but i guess i just like zippers closed, mybe im just being picky. Otherwise i like it.

2.0 out of 5 stars Why this product is not so good., July 3, 2001
I got this product hoping that I could store 24 cd's. When you put all 24 (or a little less amount) in the case, it becomes VERY hard to close and very bulky.

It also has the pages which come out. Once you put the cd's in, once you turn the pages, they fall out!

Even worse... I cannot fit this product in a case that holds a CD player and Cd's!!

Think twice before buying this product.

3.0 out of 5 stars Nice looking case but not so great quality, February 21, 2001

This is a nice looking carrycase but if you plan on flipping through it to find CD's very often, get something else! When I purchased it, I knew that the sleeves were removeable and I figured that it would be a nice feature but it only made the task of taking out and putting in CD's that much harder (especially when driving). First off, if the case is full of CD's and you are searching through it, the sleeves won't stay in that well and they will keep falling out. And secondly, it gets very bulky when full. There was a coupon included that you could send back to the manufacturer to get an additional accessory to use at home. I believe that it was a desktop storage unit that you would use if you want to remove the sleeves from the wallet and keep them at home or wherever. The unit was free but you had to pay for shipping/handling. If you like the removable sleeves idea go ahead - otherwise, go with a Case Logic, which is what I have now.
