The story of the "beginning of modern" medicine in Omaha ,NE. The history take you up nearly the most recent of events. Many of the "leaders"of the hospital system were also pioneers in Omaha business with their names being very familiar on hospital buildings.
I was more impressed with the 'future view' the various groups of NMH leaders had. They took very little for granted, looked for the very best and provided everything for the patient's benefit. It's also nice to know more of the real history of a place you work for. |
