does this charger charge notebook pc's?
I just ordered it without looking into this question.
Will it charge a Kindle? Or an ipod classic?

Unfortunately, no.

It is strictly a USB charger today.

Though, I wouldn't be surprised if a two panel version is in the pipeline which will also power laptops (I don't know if it will be all laptops, or just laptops below a certain power requirement)

Joos will be coming out with future technology that will charge laptops and devices requiring more charge. However, the current version is mainly for phones, iPads, etc. I have seen it charge a laptop though but minor charging.

No, it doesn't have enough power for that. I think the JOOS is 3500ma. But the Energizer XP18000 (18000ma) is made for that (plug-in charge, no solar option).

No, the most it will charge is an ipad. Nothing bigger. They may build a different one thy supports laptops but this one doesn't.
