I was concerned about purchasing this item because there are no pictures from other angles and/or descriptions of what will fit within the charging station. I wanted to be sure I could put a surge strip inside. Based on the measurements provided, I decided to take a chance. I have to say, I'm not disappointed. The grass actually looks fairly real and there is plenty of room to fit a (small) power strip inside. Here are some details that would have helped me when I was deciding about this item:
-The grass is supported on a removable, t-shaped support cross; therefore there is plenty of space inside the base for power strip and charger stuff. The usable internal dimensions are about 10.5" L x 6.25" W x 2.5" H.
-The exit hole for the power cord is large enough to fit things through as well. It is approximately 2" x 2.5".
-The overall height is about 6.25"

This is a great charger. It is so unique and fun to have. There is a hole near the bottom of the base for a power cord and you attach the chargers to the power cord and pull the other end through the grass to charge. Very easy to use. Grass is nice and soft plastic that will allow your gadgets to rest nicely while charging.

My coworkers think it looks awesome; I think it looks great, and everybody that walks by honestly does a double-take on it. It looks like real grass, and it hides all of the crazy cords that are on my desk. If you want to spruce up your cube a bit, definitely consider this!

A Complete Waste of Money
This item is cheap and looks really tacky. Also you have to buy the power cord separately- which was not made clear when I purchased this product. A complete waste of money.
