I started using Waves and Light in middle school. I had stomach aches and panic attacks, so I used the breathing and pictured the light to calm down when I was nervous. My mom and the school nurse agreed I could keep a copy of this in the nurse s office. My panic attacks aren t as bad as they used to be, but I still use the things I learned when I am anxious. I listen to the CD at night to fall asleep, and I use the visualization to help me practice for presentations. I love the music, the waves, and the soothing voice of the narrator. I have given a few to friends, and they say they help them too. I don t know what I would have done without this! ----- High school student, Small town in MA

I worked on the transplant floor at Children s Hospital Boston. We were worried about a teenage boy who needed more and more pain medication to cope with pain. We knew he could not be released until he started using less meds. He asked for the medication every four hours. So after three hours, we started playing Waves and Light. I love Waves and Light; it is very relaxing! I play guitar myself, so the first thing I noticed was the musical arrangements in Waves and Light. I really like the guitar in Light. I find it soothing especially with the soft keys. I don't really like some of the canned midi music out there, so it is hard to for me to listen to some things because I can't relax with that music. But this music is beautiful and very relaxing!

The narratives themselves are also effective; they help me wind down after a stressful day at work. I also use some of the "mind-body techniques" when I get stressed at work. It is interesting how well they work; they really do slow my mind down and make me feel less tense.

This is another great product by Airy Melody; I recommend it! Even a musician will find this relaxing.

This is the 3rd CD I tried with my 10-year old daughter, who often can't get to sleep because of stomach aches caused by anxiety.

IT WORKED LIKE MAGIC - within 5 minutes she had gone from moaning and crying to calm, and 10 minutes after that she was ASLEEP!

The woman's voice is soothing but not cloying and the directions on muscle relaxation are clear and easy to follow. The wave sound effects are clearly artificial, but it's just background, so it doesn't detract from the quality of the CD.

We tried the Indigo Dreams CDs but they are too young for my 10-year old and didn't give very good directions on muscle relaxation. The stories on them are fun, so I don't feel like they were a complete waste of money, but if you want the best relaxation CD - get Waves and Light.

A friend got me this CD when she found out I needed surgery. The night before my surgery I really needed to unwind so I played Waves and Light. Within a few minutes I felt myself being drawn into the music; my heart was beating slower and I felt more relaxed. I'm sure it helped speed up my recovery and I still play when I need to unwind.
