Use headphones to watch the movie and listen to music, but when you want to sleep use a set of $2 earplugs from your local pharmacy. They are comfortable if you put your head to the side, and they cut out all noise, not just low end wavelengths. From a reluctant gold exec frequent flyer.

Hannah--the QC2s are not good to sleep in. I'm sure it could be done, but if I were you I would look into a pair of noise-canceling canalphones such as the Etymotic ER6i's.
