Is it compadable with a sata ii cable

yes, sata 3 is backward compatable with sata 2 so it will work in one of thoses ports in the event you don't have a sata 3 port. same cable.

The only cable I know of is the SATA 7 point connector if it has 7 point hook up it will work.

Yes, all SATA3 drives can work on SATA2, SATA1, and even IDE with the appropriate adapter for the latter. HDD cannot reach the maximum speed of SATA2, so you will not see any issue when it comes to data bandwidth.
