I do not have the game with me so I cannot measure but I believe the regular tiles are approximately 1- 1 1/4 inch square.

They're not cubes, they're tiles. They're roughly 1.25" x 1.25" x 3/8" thick.
Perhaps we're talking about two different items... I don't see this as being good as a car diversion.

I just measured a cube, and it is 3/4 of an inch in every dimension.

We have both. I used a ruler and L. Packard is exactly right: 1.25' x 1.25' x 3/8 ' thick. So you have about twice the thickness and almost 4 times the size of the face of the travel tiles. We like playing with the regular tiles much better, but they do take up a lot of room in some games.

I have played the game but it belongs to a family member, therefore I don't have it to actually measure....my guess is that they are 1 1/2" square.
