He obviously didn't answer but I've used this book and looked at the other one so I'll answer this. The BFC book has processed simple carbs like breads (although they aren't white breads), crackers (ditto), etc. and a lot of processed food in general. This Fast Track diet is foods in their basic forms. Meats, cheeses, vegetables, some nuts, eggs and limited fruit, chocolate and alcohol. I should say fruit, chocolate OR alcohol because you can only use one of these each day as a treat. It is a pretty bare bones but since I eat this way anyway it's not difficult for me and it works. You can lose weight really fast on this diet, plus it's only 14 days.
If you know Paleo, it meshes with that very well but not quite as drastic as a Whole30.
