Should be no problem as long as you have a proper sub out jack.this is an excellent sub woofer with auto shutoff and excellent bass lines.great value here on amazon.enjoy!

Yes, but with the sub-woofer cable, it requires a two wire input on the sub-woofer. Can use a Y splitter available at any electronics store, like Radio Shack.

Yes it will I believe your HK3490 has a sub out this is none powered the 100watt amp is more then enough for most listening the amp in the psw10 is rated at 100 watts but will peak at higher rates before it clips and make destortion You may want to go for more power but it's not really needed. You will have to buy a splitter cable Amazon got one very cheap. I have only 100 Watts but works great. Good luck and enjoy
