I would follow the instructions carefully and make sure to fill the toner in your garage or basement because it can be very messy.

It remains to be seen how long the refill will last.

MY CARTRIDGE HAD A COUPLE OF SCREWS TO REMOVE TO TAKE THE END PLATE OFF. THEN JUST POURED THE TONER IN THE HOLE, SHAKING AND TAPPING THE BOTTLE(WHATEVER YOU DO, DON'T SQUEEZE THE BOTTLE), WORKS GREAT AND ITS EASY.

wow, this was easy. i had waited for my husband to come home to help me, and day after day something came up where he couldn't. So i just followed advice people on the web, and didn't spill a drop, and it works great. Just remember to cover the green roller - i guess that's what the included cloth was for - they never said what to do with it. I just covered it with a paper bag. I used half the bottle of toner since i have the smaller one.

was amazed that it worked, and so easily.

Toner works, filling was easy just go slow. But their instructions
don't apply to the original toner cartridge with respect to the
chip. You have to affix it to the outside of the cartridge as
there's no way to get it inside - no hatch, The tech wouldn't
admit this and eventually stopped talking to me or answering
my calls even when I disclosed that I'd mention this in a review.

UPDATE TWO YEARS IN
The re-filled cartridge has seen me through a lot of
pages - easily four reams of paper and is still black
and crisp as ever. So while you may need to stick the
chip onto the cartridge with adhesive it should work
fine and makes an economical solution.

For anyone handy this is a great purchase. You need a Phillips screwdriver, a small flathead electronics screwdriver and a pair of needle nosed pliers. Refill takes about 15 minutes to perform and is mess-free if you're careful.

One hint: dont overfill your cartridge. You may be tempted to stuff as much toner as you can in there. if you put the cartridge into the printer and the drum won't spin you've overfilled it. You'll have to dump some toner out. Too much toner creates friction on the green drum and prevents printing. You should only need about half the bottle for the pack in cartridge. No idea about the high-yield cartridge.

Save yourself $200 from the print company racketeers and fill er up yourself! It saves the environment and your money! Great product.

The refill kit worked very well. Bit messy, but as advertized. You need a moderate amount of skill to do this and you need to make sure the area you are working in can be cleaned up. Work slowly and carefully and DO NOT squeeze the bottle, tap it to get the powder to flow.

Would buy again.

With toner cartridges costs about $80 it was just plain tempting to try this $25 option. It has worked out great. Seems to be lots of toner and the print quality is just as good as a new cartridge. The instructions said to drill a hole, but it was just a matter of taking out a screw, pouring in the toner, and re-inserting the screw. I will buy several of these. The directions say the cartridges will work for two or three times with the refill kits.

Yes, you need to be able to follow the directions (as with most DIY projects)...but this absolutley works. I've used this toner refill twice now (the bottle was more than I needed on the first refill, so I was able to save everything and fill the cartridge again later). You definitely want to read over everything first, and wear gloves to keep the toner off your hands. Make sure you use the included chip, otherwise your printer will eventually tell you the cartridge is empty (the chip essentially resets the printer to "0" again). My factory cartridge didn't have a chip, so I used some Duck Tape to attach the included one...looks ghetto but works perfectly. Print quality is no different than with the factory unit.

Easy enough to follow the directions, tool only a few minutes to fill the cartridge. I would mention that if you're using the original toner, it does NOT have a clip to hold the [included] new sensor in place. It's basically useless for me. That being said, I didn't use it and my printer is working perfectly without it. All in all, very happy with the purchase. Just hope it last as long as they claim (which I have no reason to doubt it will).
