4.0 out of 5 stars How meddlers muddled American liberty and prosperity, November 11, 2010
This review is from: The consumer society;: A History of American capitalism (A Pelican original) (Paperback)
Best thing current students of American history could do is toss whatever politically-correct texts they've been handed and instead read this book, published in 1963 as America's Wealth. Though the author, in tone and affirmation, seems to favor progressivism, he provides a very readable chronicle of the growth of American prosperity and of the meddling government overreach that now strangles individual American lives, liberties and properties.
