More About the Author

Michelle Leclaire O'Neill, Ph.D., R.N., is a psychologist as well as a pregnancy and birthing expert. She has worked in psychoneuroimmunology for the past twenty-one years. For over 30 years she has worked in New York and Los Angeles helping patients to heal, helping create the program and worked on staff of first PTSD ward for Vietnam Veterans.

Dr. Leclaire O'Neill coined the word hypnobirthing. She is the author of Creative Childbirth; Hypnofertility; Better Birthing with Hypnosis; Meditations for Pregnancy; and The Hypnobirthing Bundle for Happy Hypnomoms and Blissful Hypnobabies.

Originator of the Hypnobirthing Leclaire Method she works from her Mind Body Center in Pacific Palisades, CA and is the mother of three.

Excellent childbirth method.All you and your partner need to feel safe secure and completely prepared for your pregnancy,labor and birth. It"s Amazing! It really works! The hypnosis for pregnancy and labor tapes that you can order from the back of the book worked like a charm.I felt very prepared and so oo oo relaxed.

HYPNOBirthing the Leclaire Method---Wehad heard about it too late to attend a class. WE both read the book and I used the tapes only a few times. I had such a relaxed birth and my husband really learned how to tune in to my needs . Iloved the whole program.We ordered the tapes from the back of the book and we got them promptly --PRIORITY MAIL.I had fear and this program helped me so much that I want to share it with other moms

This was my 2nd birth. I wish I had known about this book the 1st time around.It addressed my fears so well that by the time I got to the hypnosis chapter Ifelt totally empowered.Then I learned how to have adeep inner calm.
