Excellent childbirth method.All you and your partner need to feel safe secure and completely prepared for your pregnancy,labor and birth. It"s Amazing! It really works! The hypnosis for pregnancy and labor tapes that you can order from the back of the book worked like a charm.I felt very prepared and so oo oo relaxed.

HYPNOBirthing the Leclaire Method---Wehad heard about it too late to attend a class. WE both read the book and I used the tapes only a few times. I had such a relaxed birth and my husband really learned how to tune in to my needs . Iloved the whole program.We ordered the tapes from the back of the book and we got them promptly --PRIORITY MAIL.I had fear and this program helped me so much that I want to share it with other moms

This was my 2nd birth. I wish I had known about this book the 1st time around.It addressed my fears so well that by the time I got to the hypnosis chapter Ifelt totally empowered.Then I learned how to have adeep inner calm.

Everything that was helpful in this book could've been condensed into one chapter. I was disappointed that the first 7 chapters were nothing but fluff. There's a lot of religious references, biblical quotations, typos and statements like this: "The grand mechanisms thrusting themselves upon our lives and our birthing are merely a greater masking of the bleeding into the nuclei." If you think that doesn't make sense simply because I took it out of context, think again. It's nothing but fluff. I was greatly disappointed.

What a lovely grasp of Mind/Body Medicine for pregnancy and birth along with amazing hypnobirthing techniques.This truly is a revolutionary book.For me it Is THE book actually ,the only one I really needed for the easy birth I so desired.I also found this to be an excellent therapy for the emotions of pregnancy.Finally,someone truly understands the mind/ body of the pregnant woman and the father.I remained in a delightful trance throughout labor and my truly wonderful birth.This will be the new birthing classic. It's about time!

YES, there are many other books on childbirth preparation but none prepares the mother and father emotionally the way this does. Afterbeing prepared so well and learning how to feel safe, confident and relaxed my body followed suit. This is amust read for both mother and father.

I read the book,listened to the tapes, did it all but with a degree of"doubting thomas".It wasnt until transition that I became a true believer .The program was wonderful.I was relaxed,focused and comfortable.I worked it and it worked.

I had lots of fears and DR O'Neill addressed all of them. This method is complete and holistic , dreams ; meditation , drawings, hypnosis, wonderful stories by other moms.I had two caesareans and this book has given me the courage to go for a VBAC.The best book out. Its real and doable.

I highly recommend Dr. Leclaire Oneill s HYPNOBIRTHING program.WE read the book Did all 3 tapes and went to the class.My pregnancy and my labor and birth were truly special and my husband learned how to be truly present for me.Ilet go and relaxed more than I ever dreamed possible. ALL I did was follow the program.As they say It works if you work it. Our sweet little boy Christian Benedict loves to listen to the music tape.I really think he remembers it from pregnancy.

I learned all I needed to know.I followed the book did the tapes and I truly was able to transcend the pain and the fear of labor.My pregnancy was a joy and so is my peacefully birthed baby
