I see a lot of posts asking when everyone will receive the bonuses. First off, if you ordered from Amazon go to "your games and software library". Here you will find your key for Origin. After you have entered your key on Origin, right click on Battlefield 4 to show game information. You will see your Battlefield 4 and China Rising DLC there as confirmation.
The battlepack code will be emailed within 2 business days after the game was first available to download. No need to worry, they are always good at emailing these bonuses out. The $5 credit is a video game credit, they will most likely email the details out soon with full details on what you can use it on and how to use it.
I highly recommend pre-loading early, as the game is over 23GB. Hope this was helpful, see you on the battlefield!
Just spoke to a rep on Amazon, they are now saying the Battlepack code will be sent out within 24 hours of the actual release date. He also said lots of people are calling in to ask about it. Even if you call, they do not have access to the bonus code. With only 2 hours until release it is a real bummer not to have it.
I called Amazon earlier today and they were pretty clueless about the battlepack promo. She gave me some information but didn't answer my question. Still have not received the bonus packs yet and I will call tomorrow if I still have not received the code.
I have contacted them about 4 times. My latest email says to wait until the end of the 31st, which is actually 72 hours since the release. They are so clueless and it is really annoying that we can't get something we paid for. Their solution is always "wait until the end of the day".... day after day i keep hearing this.
I too am still waiting on the Battlepack code. I've reached out to customer service and will see what happens. My "Battle Buddy" who I play with did the same thing, and is also still waiting on his Battlepack code. The $5 code came in correctly.
I called amazon last night, and was told that they will generate a code for me and send it to my email, it took them a few hours, but at 12:30AM I was emailed a code. I redeemed it no problem, and unlocked my battle pack. It did take a bit to show up inside of battle log, its probably faster if you redeem the code in the Origin client, and then log out and back into Battlelog, no real testing was done though.
I just got off the phone with Amazon customer support. I was told that they would generate a code and that it could take a few business days to have the code emailed to me. I hope I get it soon, this is the first time I have had a problem with an Amazon promotion of any kind.
Odd that Justin was able to get a code generated for him yet the rest of us are told something else. Really was no set plan in place for rolling this out it seems. Should of wen't through Origin and bought.
Will see how it goes, if I don't get a response back by at least tomorrow evening I'll call back and see if I can get something generated like Justin did.
My Battlepack code hasn't arrived, but I'm sure Amazon will send it. To everyone: just chill. It was a Bonus offer, not something you paid for.
Is not like you're gonna get overpowered weapons or something inside the pack. Actually, the content of the Battlepack is determined by the items and weapons you use the most. So if you keep playing you'll keep giving feedback to the game and your unlocks will be related to the weapons you use the most.
The battlepack is something you paid for. You have a choice of vendors to buy the game from, each with a different bonus. You chose Amazon for their specific bonus and they promise the bonus within 48 hours. In this case they did not deliver and that is absolutely unacceptable, especially when they make no official statement on the matter. If they simply made a post on the store page about this issue i could understand, but we are left in the dark. When every customer service rep you talk to gives you a different answer... wait 1 day... wait 2 days... etc etc. It becomes apparent that no one has any idea what they are doing on customer support. The last contact i had with them, they stated it would definitely be in my email by the end of yesterday, that never happened. There should be no need to contact them numerous times when you paid full price for a new release.
