Great winter crocs!
on October 2, 2013
I just bought these, so can't, yet, tell how much I'lll wear them in the winter, but I wanted to say that they are very comfortable as most crocs are, and the fake fur inside makes them cozy. I like the way the heel comes up in the back, too--it doesn't bother me at all, and given the fit on these shoes, without socks, it doesn't even hit my heel, so it's more like wearing a pair of sandal type crocs (which I don't mind, though you may). These crocs feel nice and supportive, and the heel has the nice, cushy crocs heel which I so very much need to stop heel pain. So I'm delighted with them, and expect to get a lot of wear out of them this fall and possibly winter (depending on how they handle ice/snow).
I did want to add a note about sizing. Measuring my foot, I wear a woman's size 9, but in some shoe brands, I prefer a 9.5. (I wear a 9 in shoes like merrill, and similar types, 9.5 in shoes that run smaller/tighter. I have normal width feet). With crocs, I've had a hard time with sizing: some styles run larger, so in the more classic crocs styles, I have bought a 9. But in the "fancier" croc sandals styles, like the Patricia Wedge, I wear a woman's 10. Because of sizing issues noted in the review on this men's shoe, I decided to go with the larger size, so I ordered men's 8/women's 10. I'm so glad I did.....they fit perfectly for crocs! Meaning they are slightly loose without socks on, but in the way I'm used to some of my crocs fitting, and so with socks on, if I decide to wear socks with them, they should be perfect! Hope that note on sizing helps!
*thought I'd add that I am wearing them a lot with heavy socks, and with heavy socks, they fit perfectly! They are great for dog walking and taking the puppy in and out and in and out...well, you get it. Glad I got them in this size.
