They DO run large, but they are large in a way to accomodate people with wider/thicker feet, not large in length. I bought my normal size (6) and while the length fit pefectly, they were VERY LOSE, which resulted on a lot of pain and a big sore on each pinky toe from where the skin rubbed off from my foot constantly sliding in the shoe. When in Mt. Dora, FL at a shop that sold a LOT of crocs, I mentioned this problem to the sales person, and lucky for me they sold a pair of top inserts that fit perfectly inside the shoe, making them wearable now.
The reason the shoe ranked mid with me is because the company doesn't warn you ahead of time that they are designed for wider/thicker feet, nor do they sell inserts on their website to address this issue, nor do they suggest any type of insert that will work with this shoe. I was only able to salvage the shoes as wearable because I ended up in the right store with the right insert.
While a bit trendy for my taste, they are cute and much more practical if you want a more feminine shoe to wear when dressing more casually, e.g. sundress, miniskirt, skort, or even jeans. Just be aware that if you have a narrow (A) or normal (B) foot, you'll have to find a decent insert so your toes doen't end up calloused and bloody.
