I tried to replace a large Oster Blender jar. I purchased the product from Goodman's. The jar was smaller than advertised and the bottom to the jar did not fit properly and leaked all over. What made things worse was the fact that goodman's customer service was horrible. They had a poor response time, no customer relations skills, refused to deal with the problem, and I ended up throwing out the blender and going to a department store to buy a new one. The whole total event ended up costing me $67.

This combo contains a hard plastic cover with sharp edges, rather than the flexible plastic that came with the blender originally. The glass jar is not marked for volume in the same way as the original, but fits the blender correctly. The blade and gasket are original equipment, in an Oster box. The bottom piece that threads onto the jar is not orignal equipment either, and also has sharp, erratic edges.

The black base cover does not fit! leaves too big a gap so any fluid would leak out. Thus the whole assembly cannot be used at all! The blades are fine, but the black cover is also of inferior quality. Amazon should take action to remove this product from being offered!
