I searched and searched for a toddler size back pack and most of the larger stores only had cartoon characters, which are not my preference. These backpacks are adorable and different and just the right size. My two year old had this as his carry-on for an airplane trip and it was small enough for him to have on his back in the airports, but big enough for a jacket, diaper, some snacks and a few toys. Great find!

I think this backpack is absolutely adorable. However, after just one use, the handle started fringing and coming out at the seams. It's not like the bag was inexpensive, so I didn't feel like that should be happening. When I contacted them about it, they just told me I could ship it back to them for a replacement. However, I felt like they should have atleast offered to pay the shipping, for inconveniencing me and my son out of having a bookbag for a few weeks at school.

I had a similar situation with my bag. The bottom has begun to fray after light preschool use of less than a year. Contacted the company and was told to send it back to them. Great design, but I don't trust the quality. If I had paid less for this bag it wouldn't be an issue.
