Not What I Expected,

Ended up returning these. The lower half of the boot appears opaque gray in the picture, but was translucent white when I got them. Definitely not the look I wanted. Also, the boot opening was very snug- if in doubt, measure before you order.

I like these boots, but agree with the other reviewer that they are not what is pictured. Mine also are grey at the top and white at the bottom (opposite of Amazon pic), as well as being noticeably different from each other in pattern. (The left boot has a grey toe, and the right one does not.) The slight see-through quality does not bother me, and the fit is great. I usually wear size 10.5 and my feet are wide. I ordered size 10-11. I'm going to keep them even though the pattern is not as great as I had hoped...they still look good and are very comfortable.

These are very fun and very cute! I love them. You can kind of see through them though so you have to be careful if you want to wear bright colored socks. Very tall, elegant rain boots that serve their purpose. Only minor complaint is that they come with an in-sole that doesn't like to stay put.
