Not one of Fischer's better efforts,
By James Mowry (Ashburn, VA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: The Dead Men Grin (Paperback)
Very disappointing. Not a single character that is anything other than the thinnest cardboard. So when you get to the end, you don't really care who committed the murders or who got murdered. Fischer was capable of a lot better than this one. After reading this, I had to grab a John D. MacDonald so that I would be sure of getting something that was well written to get the bad taste of this one out of my mouth.
