Color: Naked Verified Purchase
This was my first "expensive" polish, and when I was putting it on I'll admit I was skeptical. Fifteen bucks and it took three coats for most of my nails and four for a couple? Plus a top coat. I was about ready to write a bad review. But I decided to wait and see how long it took to chip. I bet on three days, max.

Let me tell you, I took off the nail polish before it chipped, and that was two and a half weeks later. I was amazed. I'd never had a polish that lasted that long and I was impressed.

The color is a nice neutral nude. I have cool, fair skin and it worked well. I think it would be good as overall color or as part of a design (though you may have to go over it a few times for the color to be opaque).

Overall, I'd recommend this color. 4/5 stars given, one taken off for the number of coats I had to put on.

Color: Glitter In The Air Verified Purchase
You need a base color under this polish, a nude or a neutral tone if your just wanting the glittery look. Lovely color, a bit pricey but still nice. Make sure you have the time to spend doing your nails because 1-it's a jelly base & 2-you need to take time if you want the larger pieces of glitter to be placed on your nail. Nice nail polish and I do recommend it because they're aren't many polishes(personally I've not seen one before) with blue and pink sparkles like this before and it's nice to have in a collection.

This was my first Deborah Lippmann nail polish and I do like the formula of the polish and will purchase from the brand again, just not a glitter because it seems they tend to run a bit higher is price but again it's worth it.

I was looking for a shade between coral and red and kept coming back to this polish. I had never tried Deborah Lippmann polish before and was a little uncertain about it because of its price. I could not be any happier with this polish. I love it! And with a base and good top coat, it lasts forever. I'm officially a Deborah Lippmann fan!

Color: Naked Verified Purchase
I have always heard about this polish brand but was always too cheap to buy it. (Anything over $8 and I'm ready to pass out.) I was looking for the perfect nude and had been searching high and low when I came across a review on a nail blog for this with pics included and found the color to be STUNNING! I was leary at first because the pic was taken outside and the colors always photograph better in direct sunlight but I opted to order it anyway. I painted 2 coats on so easily that I could've done it with my eyes closed (well maybe not closed but with shades on at least) and it STILL would have came out beautifully! It's a color that sneaks up on you because when you intially paint it, it's pretty but after it dries, it's gorgeous!

I also painted my cousin's nails (who completely freaks out about my nail color choices) and not to my amazement, she LOVED IT TOO! I'm sure that the next time I see her, she's going to want me to paint her nails again!

It's perfect for EVERY skin tone! Seriously!

Okay, I bought this after all the hype it received at the recent awards shows (remember the JLaw "best wedding" manicure? this was part of it, the other was Whatever Lola wants). So I put the two together and the effect was...oddly underwhelming. The color was largely uninteresting and it chipped at about the same rate as any other nail polish on the market (CoverGirl, Maybelline, I'm talking to you). The dry time was similar as well. SO I now have two quite expensive bottles of "just meh" nail polish. But learning to avoid this brand? Priceless!

Color: Prelude To A Kiss
I really wanted to love this on my nails as my go-to nude color. I normally wear a foundation color NC25 by MAC, and I tend to get slightly darker in the summer. The formula is great, although it takes 3~4 coats for it to get nice and opaque. The color simply didn't look good on me. I might test it out a bit more with one thick, even coat and some glitter polish on top to see if that creates a more translucent effect. I'm a bit bummed out because these polishes are quite expensive.

All Lippmann polishes are great for durability and ease of application - the shorter brush provides a lot a extra control. As a very pale blonde with red undertones in my skin, this is the most neutral polish I've found - and I I think I've tried them all. One coat is fine for a totally clean but sheer look, while two coats provides opaque coverage without looking cakey.

Doesn't last on my nails 24 hours without chipping and peeling. Really disappointing for how much money it cost Won't buy this product line again
