Handy pencil cup that helps you personalize your desk,

I stumbled upon this pencil cup by chance, and was won over immediately. Since the cup can display two small photos - and why else would you buy it? - I found it more attractive and having more personality than the standard-issue, molded plastic pencil cup. I also find the cup convenient because having two split halves allows you to separate different types of pens/pencils. Finally, you can open or close the cup to any degree you like, to suit the amount of space on your desk.
The only (minor) downsides for me: the photo display area is a small and non-standard size (about 2 1/4 x 3 inches), which meant I had to crop and arrange my photos carefully. Also, I'd like to have more choice in colors, like silver. But it works fine for my home office and I'm buying more for my desk at work.

This is a good sized pencil holder in two half circle shapes. When the circle is closed, it has a magnet that keeps it in place. The pictures (wallet size) slide in easy at the top and have a protective acetate cover. I'm not sure yet why someone would keep it closed since I would assume that you would want the pictures to show. A good pencil holder if your other desk accessories are also black. |
