In keeping with TAB Book's theme of practical, experiment-based publishing this book is full of small circuits to build with full, detailed instructions. Parapsychological Research is a very broad term for the study of almost any weird phenomena that can't be explained by current science. This would include ghost voices, ESP, and telekinesis. This book includes under this umbrella the topics of Aura viewing (chapter 5), Acupuncture (chapter 6), Water/Time Dowsing (chapter 7), and of course, UFO communication (chapter 9). But the best chapter has to be one that is actually accessible to the everyday hobbyist who has plenty of time on their hands- "Chapter 2: Paranormal Projects for Plant Communication". Thus, the lie detection mentioned in the title of the book is for plants. This is a fascinating and totally honest chapter on plant-to-human communications, and is something you can try at home. The chapters in this book seem to be arranged in order of ascending incredulity. Communicating with plants is just the beginning! For a little book with the sort of glitzy title you might see on a Safeway checkout stand this book has some amazing content. From discussing the nature of the Universe being Hologramic and every particle in it is in some way connected to every other particle in it to practical applications of low frequency waves in divination and ESP. This book does not restrict itself to simple how to's but follows trains of thought that will trigger all sorts of oooh , aaahs and wooow - that's kewl in the thinking person.
