I live in NYC and we have station ABC family. Anytime they show a Harry Potter movie I could swear there are scenes in their movies that I have never seen before either in the theatre or the disc I own. Can anyone shed any light on this. I tried contacting ABC but to no avail. I would love a copy of all the HP movies with all these extra scenes. Are they available to buy? If so how do I go about doing so. Thanks to anyone who could shed some light on this.
You are not crazy! When Order of Phoenix was due out last year ABCF did a "Harry Potter Weekend" and showed all previous movies. Promo announcements indicated they would contain deleted scenes. Since then, I have seen them re-broadcast but without mention of them containing the deleted scenes. To my knowledge, there are none for sale. At least not that I can find! : )
I've seen that happen on ABC family. They put in deleted scenes when they have to cut other stuff out or make the movie run in the alloted time. As far as I know you can't get them like that. I'd actually love to have that option in any movie to play the film with the deleted scenes instead of having to go through the menus and play them one at a time...
I knew I wasn't going mad! Harry replies to Snape during his first potions class that "clearly Hermione knows" the answers to all his questions and after the troll incident Ron apologizes to Hermione for hurting her feelings because Harry says something like she wouldn't have been in the bathroom in the first place if Ron hadn't hurt her feelings! Hooray! so glad to know it wasn't just me and so sad to hear that those full versions are probably not available!
