The travel agent for my company recommended that I buy a seat belt extender because the airlines often run out or don't offer extenders to passengers who need them. Four cross-country flights later, I can say that none of the US Air attendants checked or cared about seat belts. A seat belt would not have been offered. If you are a plus size man or woman, and you have to fly, take care of your own safety and get one. Service is not what it used to be in the airline industry. Take your food, take your seat belt extender and if you are overweight be prepared to be treated poorly.

Depending on the airplane seat, I may or may not need a seat belt extender. This one is well made and compact. The seat belt is exactly the same as an airplane seatbelt and fits into them for extra room arond your waist.

I hate flying economy. I'm a big guy - both wide and tall (at least on airplanes I am as I have no problems anywhere else) so I rarely do it. But I am interviewing for jobs across the country and they won't pay for first class so I really have no choice. For my first interview, I purchased my extender directly from the seller. It arrived promptly and I plan to use it again.

I flew on four Delta flights - each was a different plane. I only needed it for two and it worked both times. It looks exactly like the standard seat belt on the plane, which is important for reasons I'll explain later.

One person was asking about security. I too was worried about that so I just put it out in the open in one of the plastic bins TSA hands out at the checkpoint. Right there with my shoes etc. Didn't have a problem.

Just one word to the wise, if you need one of these read your carriage contract with the airline. A couple (Delta and Southwest) are strict about it and if you need only one for only one inch they could make you buy an extra seat or kick you off. Try to keep it on the down low if you fly one of these carriers. As I said before this looks like the ones on the plane so they're not likely to notice if you're discrete and respectful of your seatmates.

This product worked excellent with JetBlue Aircraft. I was somewhat concerned initially that it may not fit with this airline, however it worked brillantly. It was wonderful not having to ask a flight attendant for an extender as it is so humiliating. I will use this product again and again and it was so worth every cent I paid for it.

It was worth every penny carrying this with me with 4 recent flights I took. It worked perfectly well with my ariplane seatbelt. I have a belly and it fit perfectly and comfortably. Very good quality too. I would buy it again and again.

I've been on planes where the seatbelt fit and others where the belt was just a bit too short for me. This one worked on an airline that was not in the specs so I have been happy with the purchase.

I bought this because ... for some reason ... some seat belts will not fit at all or are just way too tight for a long flight. I took the extender with me again last week and am glad I did. On one leg I found myself in an AirTran aisle seat where the belt would not quite reach. Took out the extender and it worked great! Very high quality. Easy to pack, carry and operate. You may not need it often, but you will be so glad you have one when you do. (Note: For some reason, I only seem to need this only on some aisle seats. Not sure why that is.)

I was fed up asking cabin crew for an extender and waiting for one. I used this on AA to Jamaica, via Miami. No problems at all. I made a simple name & address lable and used wide clear tape to wrap around the belt for attachment. So label slides on the belt but cannot fall off. Very Pleased.

Item came as described and within the estimated time frame. Appears to be great quality! Price was less than what I have found online and it included shipping - great find! Will make travelling less stressful.
