Is light still diverted to AF system if you are using manual focus lenses during video?

I believe so as the AF is in the body of the camera, i.e. this camera doesn

The translucent mirror is a fixed mirror, so the answer to that would be yes, light is always diverted to the sensor. This is necessary for the viewfinder (electronic) to work anyway. I have found this camera's low-light performance to be pretty good as it is, so I don't think you loose too much.
