Rumble in the Jungle

If you enjoy match-three bubble bursting games, you'll love Bubble Birds. This challenging game is perfect for kids to kill time while in the car or in the waiting room.

Burst Those Birds

Waves of birds are gliding down toward the ground, and it's your job to ensure they don't hit the bottom. Fire off a bird with your slingshot to match it with at least two other birds of the same color.

If you match up at least three birds of a feather, those birds will burst in a cloud of feathers and disappear. Plan out your shots carefully - you can see which colored bird is coming up next.

Fun Features

Bubble Birds features fun and colorful backgrounds, such as a jungle, the Artic, a beach, and three more scenes. Slingshot your way through 136 levels and two game modes. Compete with players around the world on a global leaderboard.

If you love classic arcade shooter games like Bubble Buster, but without the Permissions that Bubble Buster has, then you'll LOVE this app! It's also more than 1MB smaller that Bubble Buster is.

For many years, I'd been a loyal fan of Bubble Buster. Then, I began to learn of the serious dangers regarding certain apps requesting unwarranted Permissions. Reluctantly, I knew I needed to unistall one of my favorite "go-to" games. When I saw that Bubble Birds' only permission was to keep the processor from going into sleep mode or from dimming, I knew I had to check it out!

There are two modes of play: Story & Endless. Endless Mode is self explanatory, while Story Mode contains several levels in which each level becomes increasingly more difficult as you progress. The object of the game is to bust as many like colored birds as you can before the tree vine reaches the bottom of the screen. You bust the birds by tapping on the screen to where you'd like the " shooter" bird to go. There is a Pause button at the Upper Right hand side of the screen to either Pause, Resume, or Quit the game. Sound can be turned off in the Options Menu.

Yes. The birds DO appear to be a knock-off of Angry Birds but,...they are cute & the entire games graphics are much more colorful than Bubble Buster. Bubble Birds' High Definition graphics, cartoonish-like bird characters and text, along with it's bright vivid colors; really come alive on the Kindle Fire! Combine this, with a fun game that requires just a little space & no intrusive permissions? That makes it a 5* Star App in my book!

4.0 out of 5 stars Good game for a smartphone April 11, 2012
Verified Purchase
I just got Bubble Birds this morning as the Free App of the Day. It's a good game. I played it on my Samsung Galaxy S II on my morning commute. Aiming is easy on the 4" screen on my smartphone. That's great because I've found some Android games to be more difficult to play on a smaller smartphone screen than a larger tablet. The colors are bright and vivid on this game. Also I found the sound effects to be quieter than other games I've tried. Even on a crowded Metro train, it wasn't too annoying. Usually I turn off the sound on my Android games. The FAOTD is the Ad Free version so that is a bonus. I get annoyed with ads taking up screen space, so I prefer this version.

I recommend this game. Bubble Birds is easy to play.

Simple, works fine on HTC EVO 3D. Gets old quick though. But all in all, not bad. Especially compared to some of the faotds we've had lately...

Did you ever play Snood on your Game Boy? Just like that except with birds. Good mindless game that wastes times and will keep you occupied.

This one is a great time waster! The little birds come down in a group and you have to shoot a bird to match the colors to make them disappear. Similar to Tetris. I can play this for hours! :)

5.0 out of 5 stars bubble birds.... love it May 13, 2012

I play this game all the time when I just need something to do while waiting. It is easy, a lot of fun, kids could easily play it, also. At first I was trying to "launch" the bird from the slingshot at the bottom, then figured out to touch where I wanted the bird to go. Worked a lot better and easier to aim. So I am really glad I got this game. It plays perfect on my Kindle Fire. Love this game!

1.0 out of 5 stars Not as advertised!
It isn't as claimed. The birds do not go where you touch. They get close then get an invisible pull to one side or the other and it never gets where you touched. Read more

The grandchildren love watching the feathers fly when they match the colors. Very easy game that seems to go on for as long as you want to play it.
