I do like Visions of a Backbeat better, but this stands on it own. The groove is deep and this music won't hurt your heart or mind. My favorite song right now is Mr Boogie Man. I can't stop myself from dancing. Excellent album.

This album is awesome! I listened to it after I went to a Boombox afterparty show at Snowball last year...and they grooved the socks off of everyone on the dance floor! So much fun. Put this album on if you want to impress...chill...dance...whatever. Highly Recommended.

You should check out their other album too: Visions of Backbeat

Okay, I was in Denver for a conference and noticed that Boombox was playing at Red Rocks. Great venue, to make an understatement. But this album is really amazing, regardless. The rock structures were eye candy, but Boombox definitely shined, despite cold temps. Since going to the concert and really liking it, I have listened to this album nonstop. It's really great!! I liked visions of backbeat a lot. Saw Boombox on that tour at a brewery in Grand Rapids, MI in 2010. Great concert, but this album has drawn me in even more. Great riffs, great electronic shifts and elements that weren't in that album. Certainly on the same level, maybe just a bit more matured and integrated. Well done Boombox! Would highly recommend!!

At this point my favorites are Headchange and Round and round, but fyi you can check the entire album out at [...]

Enjoy!

If you are not really listening to words to songs or don't really care about the words...this is fun for the beats.
