My daughter LOVES Fancy Nancy! She is 4 and has a lot of the books in the series. This set is great value - four very informative, detailed soft cover books, in a great cardboard pack.
I think for her age though she prefers me to read some of the beginner reader books or larger format(hardcover) stories of Fancy Nancy
These books a maybe for a older reader - as they are a bit too long for her. They take a while to read to her and are very detailed - more informative, rather than imaginative.
Great illustrations, as always - also very educational.

what i like (as a parent) is that they put the meaning of the harder, "fancier" words in the book as part of the story. then you can go back and review them with the list version given at the end of the story. great learning tool

Well, doesn't the title say it all. The books are nicely done. The carrying case is great as it keeps the books tidy and my daughter finds it fun to carry them all by the handle. Perfect for longer car rides too. We enjoy these and recommend them.

Great 4 book set to read to your child at bedtime. Books are long enough that it will take 5-6 minutes to read one. Also love this series for the introduction it gives your toddler to new words and adequately explains what they mean. Daughter is a huge fan of Nancy because of her "fanciness"

We had the level 1 books which were interesting stories with various topics. These were much less interesting and read more like a recipe book. Wasn't too interesting for my little one. The story plots were pretty boring too. Just got another set of level 1 books and those by far were more interesting than these.
