This is a very detail classroom book. It's almost over my head for what I was wanting to do which was just to learn how to enhance my photos. I am half way through the book and it has been about 5 months since I started. I already have a good system for saving my work but you can save all your photos and organize a million different ways. I have now begun skipping pages and only working on tasks I think I would be interested in. I also had trouble downloading lessons so I could not follow the book 100% based on that.

I bought this to supplement the software I purchased. It's a great guide. It allows you to download lessons with pictures that you work on while following the textbook. It's a very helpful way to learn how to use Photoshop Elements. It's a must have for those who are interested in learning in detail.

I didn't feel the book gave me enough step-by-step instructions. It was hard for me to understand exactly what I was to do since I had never used the program before. I think the book would be a good teaching aid after I learned more about the program. But it was not a good "first book" of instructions for me.

This book takes you step by step through the program. It starts with organizer and moves onto the Editor. Well written. It provides a link to download practice files to go step by step through the different modes and available edits. Provides a lot of information while letting you practice. I would recommend to anyone not yet an expert in Photoshop Elements 13.
