I confess I did not get through the entire text (I did cover the entire question book that accompanies this text, however, see a prior review). Due to time constraints I did little other than complete the ABIM MOC questions/course requirements and the Mayo Clinic review book and question book).
I tried to read the chapters in this book and then do the questions with the corresponding chapter. Worked well and the material flowed easily. I ran out of time, however, and stopped reading much of this after GI. NOT that the information was not very good.
Concise and focused information presented well. No extraneous 'fluff'.
Topics seemed to correspond with the ABIM examination question focus and content.
Worked for me, I passed my ABIM MOC exam in October
