This is a good book. It illustrates many of president Roosevelt's quotes

Format: Hardcover Verified Purchase

This is a good book. It illustrates many of president Roosevelt's quotes, famous verbatim fire-side chats, and especially how president Roosevelt dealt with the press. I know of no other book that does this so eloquently plus in such detail. It's also fascinating + instructive how the president communicated with the American people in these fraught times. In addition there are details about the war i was unaware of. I could not put the book down plus i high-lighted many points. I recommend this fine study of the war for everyone, i.e., for those who love - - and even dislike president Roosevelt. Personally after completing this excellent book, I'm now even more of an admirer of president Roosevelt.
