I prefer a handfull of guides, which I obtained by using them for reference in my earlier days with the Kindle Fire HD. This book I like on my Kindle as an ebook. It is a good reference. I have an another text which is a hard copy manual to hold in my hands. My library increased with various guides and manuals, along with books that focused on just apps. All which are ebooks to supplement and have various references to consult at my fingertips. This resource is a very good resource, and I appreciate the author's efforts in giving a lengthy (over 240 pages on the kindle) detailed book with a lot of information. It is optimized for larger screens, so the text appears smaller, but then it's fine to read on the Kindle. The chapters take it from the meet and greet your Kindle Fire, as an introduction to all the main topics that guide you through it. Useful tips and advice on the topics with pictures to illustrate some places, which the author is discussing to explain some of the guided main points. At the end of the ebook is a handy index of topics one might want to review or refer to some information of interest at any given moment. The last chapter covers Manage your Kindle Fire. It contains some good information on the Kindle you should be aware of, and some pointers to do certain things to maintain it. As one example, it helps explain how you can keep it up to date. My suggestion is to consider placing this book in your library. The investment of the Kindle needs no shortage of information at your fingertips to help out the owner of this tablet. A lot to understand at first, and the tasks do get easier. This helps a person knows the potential of its power, and what this tablet is capable to undertake. It just needs a knowledgeable user to put it on fire.

This book is the most helpful I've found at clearly explaining how to use a Kindle Fire to a complete techno-idiot. Great pictures.
My only complaints are that in places the print was either too small or too faint to be read easily.

This book is so good because it has lots of photos with the corresponding instructions. You can also download this book as an eBook which makes it easy to take along.
