A great book for learning. It is written in an easy to understand outline. Written for nurses to understand and use on a daily basis. I use it for a quick reference, as well as for deeper understanding of the many topics found under critical care nursing. It is being used in Prince George Hospital as the main "textbook" for the critical care course. I highly recommend this book to all levels of nursing.

This book is packed with a lot of information and should be a great reference for anyone entering critical care or thinking about just giving themselves a refresher before signing up for a ccrn course.

This is an excellent resource for critical care nurses. I am a critical care educator of a 300 bed hospital. I use this book as an authoritative resource for preparing critical care orientation classes. The book is understandable for a new graduate nurse or a seasoned critical care nurse looking to expand their knowledge. It is very helpful to study for the CCRN exam. I recommend it to any colleague looking for a good resource. SDE, RN

I purchased this book because it was recommended by my instructor for a 12 week class for critical care nurses. She did most of her teaching from this book. Unfortunatly, I didn't make the purchase until the class was almost over. The book is great. It reinforces all of the information I was taught in a very easy to understand format. The charts and graphs compliment the text. I also used this book as an adjunct to study for my CCRN exam. I recommend this book to many nurses transferring to the ICU. Thanks again Amazon!

Nicely organized with invaluable information. Specially designed for the critical care nurse. Focuses on Nursing Management, unlike others, which focus on medical management. Excellent Book. I highly recommend!
