Franco Chatsfield and Holly Purman's story. Franco goes to the vineyard thinking that he can show up and flash a smile then get what he wants.....playing by his families rules and securing the vineyard to supply the Chatsfield Hotel's wine, and spirits. Holly is a no holds barred kind of woman. She doesn't give in to his charms. Reluctantly she gives in to her Grandfather that Franco works the fields, since they are short on help, in exchange that she changes her mind at the end of 6 weeks.

During this time Holly and Franco get to know each other a little better. Their quirks, Holly talking to the grape vines, and Franco actually knowing how to work with the vines. She realizes that he isn't the spoiled rich boy she once thought he was. He finds out that growing up she was known as Holly the Virgin Purman, and is surprised that at 28 she is still untouched.

This story is part of the series of books from "The Chatsfield." There is more to this story but to tell you more will give some of this book away. It is definitely worth the read since there are parts to this story that are hot and you shouldn't miss.

Hurt sometimes just refuses to go away. You can through yourself into your work, you can get drunk and laugh and try to forget, you can do just about anything but the hurt will always be there. Sneaking up on you in the dead of night or hitting you with the first rays of sunlight.

In this read, the fifth book in the new Mills and Boon series, we meet Holly Purman and Franco Chatsfield.
Holly has devoted her life to her family's vineyard and there is no way and no how she is going to risk losing it all, especially to a Chatsfield!

Franco Chatsfield has never played by the rules of his family and he 's not planning on starting anytime soon either. But The Chatsfield's new CEO makes it clear that Franco needs to secure a partnership and he can't say no. So he figures he 'll seal the deal and get the out! Should be easy enough. There's just one problem, one very tempting woman stands in his way.

Franco and Holly soon finds themselves working together to both get what they want, but as time passes and all starts to fall into place so does their passion for each other and soon Franco find the pieces to his heart have somehow been slotted back into place, he has no idea how and soon he only has one question , does he go against hope and shatter his heart again or does he go after the woman who has mended it?

I really liked this read, the characters were interesting and the plot had a very nice fun flow to it. The character of Franco does come off as a little too dark , but once the author reveals his reasons from the past I saw him in a complete different light and I immediately sympathized with him. I loved, loved the moment when the truth about his feelings for Holly hit him, it was so intense and had me yelling out" That's it, you're finally there!Read more ›

Franco Chatsfield needs to secure a deal with Purman Wines or risk being cut off from his trust fund. He offers a ridiculous amount of money with fair terms but is shocked when Holly Purman rejects the deal. Holly hates Franco's rich entitlement and the idea of Purman Wines' reputation getting entangled with the scandalous misadventures of the Chatsfields. Franco only has six weeks to convince Holly to change her mind. This is the fifth book in The Chatsfield continuity series, it can also be read as a stand alone.

Tycoon's Temptation is a romantic story in The Chatsfield series from Harlequin Presents. Holly is a feisty heroine that manages to remain likeable throughout the story. She reacts toward Franco with hostility though she often ends up regretting being overly harsh and readily admits when she was wrong.

Franco has always been the black sheep of the Chatfields. He's used to all the false assumptions others apply to him but he is determined to win Holly's confidence. He offers to help tend the vineyards along with other various winery tasks. He enjoys flirting with her and comes to respect her passion for Purman Wines. Yet the more he has to defend himself from her false accusations the more he is reminded of the stark truth he wants to keep only to himself.

I thought this was a good read but it didn't really leave a strong impression. I loved that the story highlighted the wine making process with rich description and enthusiasm. I liked both main characters and found Franco's back story intriguing. The romance was a slow build with lots of setbacks but I ultimately liked how the story ended.
