Comment: This book has already been loved by someone else. It MIGHT have some wear and tear on the edges, have some markings in it, or be an ex-library book. Over-all it is still a good book at a great price! (if it is supposed to contain a CD or access code, that may be missing)

Samantha Hunter's latest is a fantastic 4 1/2 star read. Her leads are complex, with strong emotional depth and a sizzling sexual connection. ThereÆs also a moving secondary romance between
ErinÆs sister and a fireman. A stronger focus on solving the mystery would have brought this tale near perfection, but thatÆs a small quibble.

Erin was a firefighter until an accident happened and she lost not only her job but half her life. She remembers nothing until Bo kisses her and she starts having dreams. It’s not until later when she finally gets the courage to talk to Bo that she realizes they weren’t dreams but memories. She had memories about very good sex. It was not only hot but adventurous, like say in an orchard surrounded by apple trees.

I thought it was interesting how Bo set off her memories. When you really think about it though it makes sense because whether she realized it or not she loved him. They were dating for a while before they broke up. I think it affected Bo more because the accident not only happened a month after the break up but she had no memory of him at all, until the kiss. She looked at him like he was a stranger.

Their chemistry is amazing and I was surprised at how well he held out. I thought for sure they were going to end up somewhere after that first kiss, but he got scared and ran. Being a firefighter is a tough and very physically demanding job and I give Erin kudos for doing it.

Overall this was an enjoyable story about a woman getting the other half of herself back and a couple getting a second chance.

Unforgettable by Samantha Hunter is an amazing book. The story is both emotional and moving, as the romance between the two main characters is given a second chance for success. Erin Riley is a strong, heroic woman and her ability to put her life back together after suffering through a horrific accident is a testament to the power to survive. Bo Myers is her rock, a man who truly loves with his heart and will do whatever it takes to ensure that Erin heals to the best of her ability.

Erin used to be a firefighter, a difficult occupation for a woman in a male dominated field. She was good at her job and the crew that she worked with became her second family. When she almost lost her life fighting a fire, her sister as well as the crew, stuck to her like glue throughout the recuperating ordeal. In addition to bruises, Erin survived several brain surgeries and an induced coma. Now she is almost back to her former self, with the exception of partial amnesia. Her adult memories are practically non-existent, which includes the happenings at the fire, yet from time to time she gets a flash of something. Since she is still healing, she spends her free time helping out at her sister's flower shop and trying to remember her life post childhood.

Bo is the head Fire Marshall investigating the devastating fire that caused Erin's amnesia and the death of a fellow firefighter. He and his colleagues know the cause to be arson, but due to the lack of evidence and witnesses, it is difficult to substantiate. Bo and Erin were secretly seeing each other up until about a month ago, when she broke up with him out of the blue. Bo thought Erin was his future, but for reasons unknown, she called it off.
