Farrah Rochon's contribution to the "Wintersage Weddings" series was just in time for Christmas. What better way than to get you in the Christmas spirit than a good Christmas love story.
I have been NOT SO PATIENTLY waiting on Jordan and Vicki's story and it was well worth the wait. Little Mason is just as cute as can be. It took Jordan a while to see what was right in front of him all these years but his ex-wife left a bad taste in his mouth. With questions surrounding the results of the election, Jordan has to take the time out to find the real love that's right in front of him.
They picked the 3 perfect authors for this series and each story was great. Maybe we will get to read about Vicki's brothers and have more "Wintersage Weddings"!

Vicki, has been in love with Jordan since she was a teenager and has all but given up hope that Jordan will finally see her for who she is. Jordan, is a single father who has been burned by love. Vicki goes through a makeover and Jordan begins to take notice. You get to see Jordan learning to trust again and finally seeing not only Vicki's beauty, but the beautiful person she truly is. Loved the conclusion of the Silk Sisters. Ms. Rochon truly ended this with a bang. I hope to see more of Wintersage in the future.

So you Know this is Book Three, Not Book 2 of the series.. The books are listed out of order.. Farrah Rochon is now listed on my favorite authors lists., The Mistletoe Affair is just what's needed for a holiday romance series.. This story is my favorite.. Silk Sister Vicki Ahlfors, the floral designer is the featured story. Her leading man is Jordan Woolcott. Jordan is her best friends Sandra's brother. Vicki always loved Jordan but was afraid to speak the words out loud. Jordan had never noticed his little sisters friend until he Saw her at the wedding. Vicki decided to have a make-over head to toe, to include a new haircut, wardrobe and attitude. With this change, many of the eligible bachelors began noticing Vicki, much to the chagrin of Jordan because he Saw a Vivacious Vicki now... Vicki only has eyes for Jordan.. A strain between friends becomes apparent when Jordan challenges Sandra Howerton's father's recent win in a political race against Jordan's client. The sisters agree to stay neutral by not discussing the political climate when all three were together. As Vicki and Jordan love more in love, their relationship is tested when Jordan refused to concede defeat. A story with a political backdrop normally would have limited appeal to me, however the way Ms. Rochon adapted the story it was believable, humors and was most importantly, it was well-written.. Well Done Ms. Rochon.. A great story...

Since the Wintersage Weddings Serial was written by three different authors, this question will be asked three times; who decided on the book order? Eve of Passion, about the coming together of Janelle and Ballard should have been book one in the series, not book three. Both other books discuss the wedding and the couple, already married,

Vicki and Jordan are the cutest couple. Jordan has been hurt by a woman before and now has a child he must protect above all else. While Vicki was always the romantic of the Silk Sisters, she was also the one who dated the least and always had a crush on her best friends brother. While the romance is the main focus of the story, I was more intrigued by the secondary election story. Jordan was a man of his convictions, even though those convictions put him at odds with his friends and family. I truly enjoyed how Ms. Rochon brought that story line to conclusion. As the last of the Silk Sisters to get married, I would love to see where they all are in five or ten years. The series was wonderful and the story continuity between the authors was consistent.

This story reminds me of an updated fairy tale with the best twist; she didn't need him to save her he needed her!! Vicki came out of her shell and decided that she was going to enjoy her life. When Jordan sees her he is broken from two defeats, the first his marriage the second a political campaign that should have been won. Vicky was the friend that didn't look the same or act the same and he didn't know what to do with his self. How had he missed this beautiful swan not from just her looks but her character as well. Once Jordan starts paying attention she teaches his to trust himself and never quit till the end

I purchased this book to finish the series, but before I could finish it, my book just disappeared, so I purchased another one just to read how the story ended. I enjoyed it and it was an okay read. I am glad that I bought another one to finish out the series, I like this author she is new to me but I will try more of her work.

Vicki and Jordan had a bit more to deal with than the other two couples, but their story was a good one. The issues Jordan was facing as a single dad were realistically portrayed, IMO, but his obsession with the outcome of the election was a little over the top. I'm guessing,however, that that intensity is what made him overlook Vicki so long, in the first place.

Nice to see Vicki come into her own and out of the shadows of Janelle and Sandra, and also her family. I'm especially glad to see she got her man!
