"Pure" by Rebecca St. James is a 90-day devotional that is designed to minister to the body, mind and Spirit. This amazing book challenges you with powerful scripture and suggestions for living the Word of God. The author's personal reflections inspire and drive home the point of the daily reading. The "Looking Further" section gives the reader a deeper understanding of each day's topic. This is a must read for young and old. The book has touched me from day one. I will re-read this book for sure.

The writing style is crisp and easy to understand:

Many people think of being pure as an action--something they must do--rather than... something they can be.

For time-sensitive people, this is a wonderful devotional tool. Using the book as intended, devotions take less than five minutes a day. Each day is divided into three sections: Reflection, where the topic is introduced; Looking Further, where a deeper study enriches; and Living It Out, where a challenge is given. A myriad of topic include perfectionism, body image, her fifteen years in Christian music, and insecurity.

I heartily recommend this to all ages who would like to be pure for Christ in mind, body, and spirit.
