This book was great! I loved all the special pullouts. It was realy fun to run your hand over the page and wonder what else you'll find. It was so cool how some of the pictures looked so clear and real, it was almost as if you could touch them. This book gave great information. Just once bit of advice, make sure before reading all about the certain book it's telling you about, make sure you've read the whole book before. Because it basically gives you the ending. But other than that, its a really amazing Nancy Drew memorbilia book. I loved it!

My daughter bought this book and says that it is "really cool!" It has lots of secret messages, pictures, and compartments throughout the book, that my daughter enjoyed a lot.

I purchased this for my 42 year old daughter, a collector of Nancy Drew books since she was 10 years old, and my 10 year old grandaughter who is following in her mother's footsteps. They both rate it five stars and say it is a must for any Nancy Drew lover.

I'm a 37 year old mother of one and a long-time fan of Nancy Drew. I remember my mother taking me to used bookstores so I could buy inexpensive books back when I was 8 years old and I happened to stumble upon some Nancy Drew hardbacks. The love affair has never ended! I love all the original titles and this book is the icing on the cake. It is beautifully bound and contains anecdotes of Nancy Drew's sleuthing adventures, in the form of journal entries. This is spiced up with beautiful illustrations of the front cover of Nancy's earlier adventures, i.e. The Secret of the Old Clock, The Hidden Staircase, The Mystery at Lilac Inn, The Clue in the Diary, The Clue of the Broken Locket, The Secret in the Old Attic, The Ghost of Blackwood Hall, The Mystery at the Ski Jump, The Scarlet Slipper Mystery, The Mystery of the 99 Steps, The Invisible Intruder, The Strange Message in the Parchment, and The Thirteenth Pearl. Also, there are little 'treasures' to unearth such as ticket stubs, letters, maps, etc. There is also a special page that focusses on Nancy Drew through the decades - how her fashion changed over time and at the end of the book is an envelope containing 13 collectible postcards of the covers of the earlier books.

All in all, this is a wonderful book for young and old fans alike. Also, a great companion book to this for older readers] would be Girl Sleuth: Nancy Drew and the Women Who Created Her by Melanie Rehak.Highly recommended.

This book is so much fun! There are a total of 13 Nancy Drew mysteries covered and each takes up two pages, so there is a lot of stuff to read. Each page features a journal entry written by Nancy that summarizes the case. There are also lots of interactive features to the book. For instance, sometimes you have to untie something to read what is inside. Other times, you can rotate a little tab to make something turn. It is all so cute and fun! The book even includes a couple of pages about Nancy Drew through the decades, information about the making of Nancy Drew, and postcards! If you are a Nancy Drew fan then you should definitely buy this book. I guarantee you that you will spend at least one hour looking through the whole book. You will love it!

This book was purchased as a birthday present for my daughter. I would highly recommend it! The Lost Files of Nancy Drew is a fabulous interactive book that let's you look into Nancy's personal journal, notes, and items she has collected to solve many of her mysteries. When I asked my daughter if she enjoyed this book, she said: "It is really cool! It let's you see how Nancy thinks and solves her mysteries!" (Also, Amazon's purchase price was over six dollars less than my local super store!)

I was surprised at the size of this book. It was huge! I was very pleased with it... it was an excellent deal for $8. I agree with the other reviewers who have said that this book is for fans of all ages. I am an adult long-time collector who is well on my way to having all of the almost 400 books in the Files/Mysteries/On Campus series and some various random books like this. This one was a nice book to add! The only thing I would have liked to see would be a few more pages featuring a few more mysteries. Despite its size, there weren't many pages. But the mysteries that were included were a lot of fun. There was a lot to look at and it was very interactive.

My 11 year old absolutely loves this book. It is not a novel, so if you are expecting one, do NOT buy it. It is more of a show and tell type book.

There are different pages geared towards each character. There are also little snidips of past mysteries...clues, tickets, etc...

My daughter looks at this book for hours.
