I know it has been commented on a lot (here and elsewhere) but the intriguing question is: how could someone as hyper-brilliant as theoretical-physicist Richard Feynman still manage to be so authentically/ genuinely 'down-to Earth' completely-unpretentious, even easygoing and often quite humorously insightful in his later informal quest to bring an appreciation (and even love) of 'Science' even to the everyday person (although Feynman was of course very 'serious' in terms of his groundbreaking scientific achievements and most certainly one of the most abundantly imaginative and highly regarded theoretical-physicists of his Day = being hand-selected at a very early age to work on/contribute greatly to the success of the "Manhattan-Project" and subsequently winning the Nobel Prize* for his groundbreaking-work on 'quantum-electrodynamics' ==> creating famous 'Feynman-Diagrams' and then gaining stellar-reputation as a top-notch lecturer to aspiring graduate-students at Caltech, then even becoming a 'popularizer' of the power of scientific-insight thru his numerous essays/interviews, etc.

"The Pleasure of Finding Things-Out" is a collection of essays by Feynman covering the gamut of topics from the true Value & meaning of 'science' and especially the importance of scientific-integrity, to the possibility of reconciling the scientific-method with a sincere belief in God (is there any possible compatibility in these concepts and is a blending of the two even feasible i.e. or are they completely contradictory?) Feynman tackles this and many other questions in a very sincere/ thoughtful multi-dimensional and amazingly articulate manner!

Can't get enough of reading about this man! A brilliant thinker and a real down to Earth human. Also see the videos of him saying a lot of what is in this book ( on YouTube-of course!) so you can see and hear him. I found him quite amazing. His love of learning and enthusiasm is contagious!

Valuable insight is made visible into how and why Professor Richard Feynman is motivated in his discoveries of topics in modern physics. A valuable resource for anyone, especially those whose interests are in the sciences, especially physics.

I hate writing probably more than Feynman. :)
The only thing better than reading his words, is actually hearing them from him through video and/or audio.
