I purchase this book three weeks ago. The book was delivery incredibly fast (due to Amazon Prime) but the package came a little damaged. The upper side of the front cover was smashed. Apart from that, good job from Amazon.

I got the book way before my classes start. I checked that the professor was asking to get the access code that new books comes with in order to get access to the four additional chapters. Truth of the matter is that I didn't need a new book. You can just purchase the 4 additional chapters for 10 bucks in the author's webpage. Hope this review will help you to save some money.

There is a lot of content and a good amount of images which makes it easier to visualize, but it lacks color. However that's totally understandable because it would make this 1,000 page monster a lot more expensive that it already is. The only aspect of this book that's worth rating lower is the fact that it has a noticeable amount of typos - but again it's understandable because I could only imagine how much fun it could be to write and revise the material presented.

The questions at the end of the chapters are helpful, but are limited. I'm thankful there is some questions to help me memorize the info more, but there definitely needs to be more or at least different methods of testing your knowledge such as cross-word puzzles or whatever else.

Nothing great about this book. You would think at the high price point you could get some color on the pages???? Book is actually loaded with some detailed info, unfortunately it suffers from being all over the place with the information, really lacks cohesion.

If you have interest in the manufacturing side of engineering, this would be a great book with tons of information.
However, if you are not, it goes into too much information. The important information in the book is clouded among a mass of rain clouds pouring information that you may never need to know.

Be aware! Code, which is provided with a new book, doesn't give you access to see chapters online on the publisher website. Also, this book has very limited online materials and they aren't useful at all!!! I'm very disappointed. I should have purchased a used book to save some money.

Wasn't willing to pay a super lot for a book I use for one class. It was well worth the wait from this seller, the book was in new condition, and looked like it had barely been touched! They had great return policies, even though I didn't need to use it, and shipped quick. Definitely would provide anyone with this seller for college textbooks and other misc.
