Nubian Passion is a collection of five short stories, which incorporate love, romance, and sensuality into non-traditional interracial tales. The leading female character is always a woman of Nubian descent. However, her lover is always a man from a different heritage. Nubian Passion begins during ancient times with a story titled, The Nile. Then, the stories progress to the 1650's, the 1690's, the 1870's, and end during a post-apocalyptic time where the year is virtually unknown.

Each story is mixed genre. So, do not assume that everything will unfold in a predictable manner. There will be some unexpected occurrences, but not necessarily good ones. However, despite all of the ups and downs that will present themselves, be assured that Romance still rules.

This revised edition of Nubian Passion does not include the story Vampire, which may be purchased separately as an extended version novella.

About the Author

Gwendolyn R. Morris has always been attracted to men of all races. But, as an African-American female, seldom found such stories in the romance genre. So, she decided to write her own. The book, NUBIAN PASSION, was the result. She currently resides in the state of New Jersey with her family.

Nubian Passion: will send your pulse sky high. Every story is worth reading. If you only get one interracial book get this one! I love interracial books,with black woman and white man, and this is definetly my favorite. There are six stories in all with the last one being the longest and they make you want to read them over and over again. I know I did!

I was extremely disappointed in this book. The premise of the book seemed so promising! Gwendolyn Morris's writing was cheesy at best, horribly stilted at worst. I couldn't believe someone would pay her to write. True, short stories do not provide a lot of space to go in depth but it doesn't mean you have to write so far fetched, unrealistic, fake scenerios, with dialogue that is stupid just to fill the page. I would not recommend this book to any thinking person but if you are interested in cotton candy writing, please feel free to pick up this book. Just remember, too much candy can make you sick and possibly rot your teeth.

This is a great collection of short stories. There are four stories that are historical and very believable according to my past research into race relations during the periods about which they are written. The times were more formal thus the use of a more formal dialogue in these four stories. Of the other 2 stories one is a sci-fi romance and the other is a paranormal romance. Both of these stories are interesting and highly sensual. This book is a nicely mixed entertaining journey through multiple worlds.
